A Tricorn window is cut off, or its buttons are not visible

If a Tricorn window appears incomplete, for example the Save and Close buttons are not shown and the window cannot be resized, adjusting your Windows display settings normally resolves it.

Before you change anything

Make a note of your current scale and resolution so that you can set them back. This matters particularly if the machine is shared, or if the scaling was increased to make text easier to read.

What to check

1. Open Windows Display settings.
2. Set the display scale to 100%.
3. Set the display resolution to the highest value your screen supports.
4. Reopen the Tricorn window and check whether the full window and its buttons are now shown.

If the buttons are still not visible, please contact support and include a screenshot of the window along with the scale and resolution you have set.
